The Winner Takes It All - MAMMA MIA

LONDON 에 가면 의례 꼭 보아야 하는 뮤지컬중, "MAMMA MIA" 와 "WE WILL ROCK YOU" 둘 중에 무엇을 봐야 할지 고민했었었다.

ABBA 의 노래도 좋고, QUEEN 의 내래도 좋은데 무얼보지? 라고 고민하다가 아주 근소한 차이로 "WE WILL ROCK YOU"를 선택했었고, 재밌게 보았었는데, 못본 MAMMA MIA 가 참 아쉬웠었다.

영화로 만들어져서 보았다.

뮤지컬을 보는만큼의 감동은 아니겠지만, 그래도 ABBA 의 노래는 참 좋아한다.

소시적에 노래좀 들어본 사람이라면 다 알만한, 그리고 평소 귀를 잘 열고 다니는 사람이라면 적어도 한번 정도는 들어본 적이 있을법한 ABBA 의 히트곡은 참 많다.

영화를 보면서, "아! 이걸 뮤지컬로 봤었더라면" 하는 잊어버린 아쉬움이 기억난다.

사실, 뭐 내용은 그닥 중요하지 않다. 단지 ABBA 의 노래를 신나게 들을 수 있다는게 거의 다이다.

어릴적에 들을적에야, 그저 노래가 흥겹고 멜로디가 좋아서 좋아했다.

하지만, 영화를 보면서 자막으로 가사 내용이 나오는걸 봤는데, "The Winner Takes It All"이란 노래가 그렇게 슬픈 노래인지 몰랐다.

이긴사람은 다 가질 수 있다.

사랑에서 이긴사람은, 자기 마음대로 할 수 있고 버릴수도 취할 수도 있으며 다 가질 수도 있다.

아주 비참한 노래를 그렇게 신나게 만들었을까...?

진사람은 자기 마음대로 할 수 있는것도 가질 수 있는것도 없다.

그냥, 기억에서 조금이라도 남아주면 감사하다고 해야 할까?

그냥 조용히 사라져야 하는거였다.

불평불만하거나 미련도 없이, 조용히 그 사람을 위해 없어져져야 한다.

눈물나는 너무 슬픈 노래... ㅠㅠ
