학교다닐적에 나와 3년을 함께 자취한 동아리 친구가 있다.

그 친구는 고등학교때부터 일렉기타를 쳤고, Rock을 좋아했다.

그 때문에 우리 방에는 타인의 취향과 상관없이 팝송을 많이 들을 수 밖에 없었다.

영어로 뭐라 하는지 알아들을 수도 없고, 음악은 시끄럽고.. 나의 취향과 영 맞지를 않았다.

11월이 되어 그 고통은 절정에 다다랐다. 특히 비오는날...

얘는 Guns N' Roses 의 November Rain을 하루 종일 틀어놓는다.

가사도 변태적인 그 노래...

지겨웠다. 몹시도...

듣고 있기가 힘들정도로...

.....

지금은 11월, 그리고 비가 온다.

생각이 난다.

그때... 지저분하며 쉰내나는 자취방, 그리고 볼품없는 책상과 옷장, 조그만 TV 그리고 딸랑 거울하나...

CD라는게 무엇인지도 잘 모를시절, 테이프꽉의 저 윗그림이 생각난다.

하루종일 들어야 했던 그 November Rain...

지금은 좋은느낌으로 다시 생각이 난다.

앞으로 몇년은 11월에 비오면 그 생각이 날듯 하다.

고통이 좋은느낌으로 변해있다.

아마도 다시 돌아가고 싶기때문일지도...

비가 오니 꾸정한 하늘이 잠시 깨끗해지겠다.
